APCO Australasia offers grants each year to assist members wanting to attend the Annual APCO Australasia Conference & Exhibition. APCOA offers members two (2) Travel Grants which are designed to financially assist with the travel and accommodation of members located rurally, interstate or internationally and five (5) Conference Grants which each cover the registration costs for one full delegate.
Travel Grants
APCO Australasia awards two (2) Travel Grants each year, designed to assist members located rurally, interstate or internationally. Each applicants can apply for financial support of up to AUD $1,000 to go towards travel and accommodation costs incurred when attending the Annual APCO Australasia Conference & Exhibition.
Eligibility
The first step in applying for an APCO Australasia Travel Grant is to determine whether APCO Australasia will be able to consider your request. Please read the eligibility criteria carefully.
• Applicants must be a current APCO Australasia member at the time of lodging your application.
• Applicants must live and work a distance greater than 100km from the hosting location of the Conference & Exhibition. Interstate and international members are encouraged to apply.
• Applicants are
ineligible to apply for a Travel Grant if they are applying for a Conference Grant.
• Applicants must be able to show financial support for full delegate registration and any additional travel costs incurred above the AUD $1,000 grant.
• A letter of support from your employer or superior must accompany all applications.
• Applicants are not eligible to receive either a Travel Grant or a Conference Grant for two consecutive years.
Selection Process
The selection criteria for the Travel Grant includes: the applicant’s location, the value of attendance by the applicant as an individual and to their organisation and the value the applicant offers towards the Conference & Exhibition.
Applications will be assessed by the APCO Australasia Grant Selection Committee and successful applicants will be notified prior to 31 January.
Application Process
Applications must be received by APCOA no later than AEST 5.00pm on 31 December the year prior to the APCO Australasia Conference & Exhibition you wish to attend.
Applicants are required to complete the online
grant application and email the following seperately to
registrations@apcoaust.com.au:
• A signed letter of support from the applicant’s employer or superior as to the value of the attendance at the Conference and Exhibition.
Applications can be submitted online in the members area.
Conference Grants
